The First Step: Contracting

Everyone’s favorite part…

The first part of any team in the Insurance Industry starts with contracting. After you speak to our Contracting Specialist, you will start to receive emails that contain the links you’ll need to start selling our proprietary products. Keep in mind, what you’ll be sent is tailor made to the features you’ve chosen in your program. Our Contracting Specialist will be sure you get the right information, but it’s up to you to do your part.

Most contracting requests come from SureLC. Keep in mind, even if you already have a SureLC account, every carrier and IMO is set up a little bit differently. Therefore, you may have to fill out another account.

Other contracts come from links that stand on their own. Rarely will you have to fill out a paper contract, but you will need to stay on top of your email so that you can fill out your contracts as they are processed.

Our Contracting department will be sure you know exactly what to expect in your email. Once you receive and complete all the forms, be sure to email info@wholesalefinalexpense.com to let the department know.

Often times, it’s a struggle to close. Even more often than that, agents are spending far too much in marketing and getting far too little in return, or they’ve completely exhausted their warm market and are at a loss at how to continue. These are problems that can be resolved with good training.
If you are an agent looking for a deeper understanding of the sales process, you’ve most likely included training as a part of your customizable program. Follow these next steps to ensure your success in this program.
Keep in touch with your trainer. Upon onboarding, you’ll be assigned to one of them. You’ll have their contact information and the ability to reach them directly with any questions you have.
You’ll also be given a script. Take the time not only to read and memorize the script, but take the time to understand it on a deeper level. Ask yourself these questions: Why am I saying this? What is the importance behind these words? What am I communicating with these words? Remember, a deeper understanding requires a deeper thought process. Don’t just memorize; understand!
You’ll be given a training schedule as well. It is important to come to these trainings fully prepared. That means not only being very familiar with the script you’re given and what your role is on the team, but it also means to come with pointed questions. Passive learning will only get you so far. For a truly deep and fulfilled understanding, it’s crucial to take the time to ask questions about what you don’t understand. Your trainer can only help you if they know where your knowledge is lacking.
